Blakemore Freeman Language Grants are awarded for one year of advanced language study in East or Southeast Asia. Students studying Chinese, Vietnamese, Tibetan, Japanese, Indonesian, Thai, Korean, Khmer, Burmese and/or Malaysian are eligible for funding. The Foundation also offers “Refresher Grants” to professors, language professions and others for advanced language study.
